A FAMILY RURAL ERASMUS
A cultural and language immersion programme in Spain for the whole family. If you want to spend a school period with your family in Spain, at Rural Life we organise all the details you need: school, accommodation rental, logistics for your telework and hospitality.
If you have the opportunity to travel for a longer period of time or your work situation allows you to telecommute, we believe this is a great opportunity to live a family experience.
PROGRAMME RURAL LIFE
Rural stay for a school term
Rural Life is a programme designed for European families and designed to organise all the necessary logistics required to spend a school term in Spain in a public school. We take care of facilitating:
School place
We help you find a school for your children according to the course and age range. We facilitate all bureaucratic issues, advise on validations, syllabus and other aspects. Quality public schools.
Renting housing
We help you to select a rental property for your family. The houses are village houses in which you will be very close to the services of the municipality and the school. You will not need any kind of transport for your daily life.
Logistics for telework
In the villages you will have everything you need to develop any telework such as a good mobile connection, data and WiFi. You will also have the minimum furniture to work already set up in your home.
Hospitality at destination
We will accompany you during your stay so that the integration of your children and the whole family is quick and pleasant. We will also attend to any possible aspects for which you may need help or support, we will advise you on everything.
Healthcare
There is good primary health care in the area, as every village has a health centre and the hospital is less than 25 minutes away from any point in the region. Free public health care.
Programme costs
The programme provides all the logistics and arrangements free of charge, so the cost of the programme is only the cost of living associated with the experience (rent, transport…). An economical and comfortable lifestyle.
Housing costs
The rental cost will be linked to the available housing stock at any given time, depending on the time of the Rural Life experience and always adapting to you. Consult our housing stock.

We have unbeatable flight connections to:
- Aeropuerto de Valencia Manises, 50 minutes
- Aeropuerto de Castellón, 1:30h
- Aeropuerto de Alicante, 2h
- Aeropuerto de Madrid, 1:45h on AVE or 2:30 by highway
* Option of transfer or car rental provided.
Conditions
The programme is financed by European, national and local public funds, providing management, information and hospitality free of charge until 24 June 2024. What are you waiting for?

FAMILIARISATION PROGRAMME
A few days' immersion to get to know the programme
If you prefer to visit us beforehand to get to know the programme, we have prepared a familiarisation pack so that in just a few days you can clear up all your doubts, without any obligation. With this experience you will be able to get to know all the details of the Rural Life programme and enjoy a few days of holidays in one of our beautiful places in Tierra Bobal.
Our aim is that in just a few days you will discover our territory and feel what your life would be like here for a period of time. We will attend informative meetings about what Rural Life is (theoretical aspects, bureaucracy, etc.), practical day-to-day visits to houses, schools, streets, public spaces in the villages or parks; you will get to know our land, its culture, its gastronomy, its vineyards and of course its nature; and added to all this you will be able to enjoy a holiday for a few days knowing all the adventures that await you in Tierra Bobal.
PROGRAMME:
Day 1
- Arrival and accommodation
- Visit to the village
- Information meetings on the Rural Life Programme
- Accommodation
Day 2
- Visit to the territory: trekking to the Hoces del Cabriel NP
- Visit vineyard areas
- Village culture
- Accommodation
Day 3
- * Optional: descent of the Cabriel river by rafting or canoeing
- Visit to Chera National Park and geological site
- Visit to the historic centre of Requena and typical wine cellars.
- Accommodation
Day 4
- * Optional: adventure activity or excursion to Valencia
- Back to the airport
- Possibility of extending the stay: visit to Madrid or Valencia
PRICE
The programme includes the services mentioned above except for optional services:
- Option stay + M/P + Programme described: €254/adult and €203/child
- Stay in a guesthouse + programme described 1050€/(up to 5 pax). Place supplement 200€/pax
